We currently live in very turbulent times and not a day goes by without something newsworthy happening. In the modern age of 24 hours news coverage and high definition imaging and video, people want to know what is happening, and they want to see it in the highest quality possible. Ayrshire is no different and is often the scene of major incidents that need to be covered for both local and national press organisations.

Recent events at Prestwick airport with the two bomb diverts just shows how significant the West Coast of Scotland actually is. With unique local knowledge and experience, any major event can be covered at a moments notice, and when necessary, images and reports can be transmitted from the scene to meet deadlines. With a wide range of experience including some time served within an emergency service, the best images can be captured and a quick response time ensures that I am the first camera on scene throughout the three towns in Ayrshire (Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Stevenston).

Recent coverage has included dramatic sea side rescues, major gas explosion within the local vicinity and the recent memorial to HMS Dasher.

Non-time critical events can also be covered such as local parades, community days and sporting events.

Strathclyde Police forensic officers cover up the body of a missing woman found on Ardrossan's North
shore following a full scale search and rescue operation the previous night in the confines of Ardrossan
Harbour.

A full scale chemical fire took place at the former ICI site in Ardeer, Stevenston in September 2007, with
fire crews having work through the night to bring the major incident under control.
