Welcome to the Website of freelance Photojournalist Kevin Paterson: Reporting from the front line . People could be forgiven for thinking that the west coast of Scotland is a quiet and peaceful part of the world, well they would be wrong. As with many areas in Scotland, Ayrshire has its fair share of problems with Anti-Social behaviour, crime, accidents and emergencies and of course the occasional pounding by Mother Nature.

Kevin Paterson has committed himself to providing high quality media coverage of these events and to act as a locally based resource for both local and national news organisations. In today's modern world, the general public demand high quality coverage of news stories regardless of the circumstances. The current war on terrorism and the new era of 24 hour news broadcasting only adds to peoples desire to know what is going on.

Available for tasking 24 hours a day, Kevin Paterson is at the cutting edge of the Ayrshire News, often being the only professional camera lens and video on scene. With experience in a wide range of situations, his aim is to provide the best images and video footage available for any news story.

Based in the scenic backdrop of Ayrshire, Scotland, he is ideally suited to cover the action on the South West Coast of Scotland. With a focus on more specialist subjects, his experience and enthusiasm is unrivalled. By using the latest technology, reports and images can be transmitted on location, thus greatly reducing the turn around time on breaking news stories. Due to the nature of the subjects that covered, some of the work undertaken is "unplanned", and is in response to a developing situation. Commissioned work is also welcomed. Enquiries from charities or youth organisations who may have limited or no funds are also welcome.

My Current Location: Ayrshire, Scotland.
